Visitors to the Learning Technologies 2013 exhibition in London in Janury 2013 will be able to visit the Smarter Interactive stand to see a demonstration of in-room communication technologies.
There are many benefits to using technology over more traditional methods of note taking and collaboration, and we will be using the latest SMART Boards to show visitors just how effective interactive white boards are.
SMART Boards simplify the sometimes arduous task of note taking by recording all your notes in one place. Anything written on the board – either by fingertip or the specially designed pens – can be moved, resized, printed, emailed, copied, pasted and even converted into text. This means you can capture all your meeting notes in one place and manipulate them as much as you require, saving you time and helping you work more effectively.
Using a SMART Board you can also pull up any content from your computer and write over it. For example, you could open a spreadsheet, PowerPoint presentation, video or 3D modelling program, write notes directly over the material and save it as a complete file. This ensures that the relevant information is kept together and notes can be recorded for each individual training session and easily distributed to students immediately by email.
The latest SMART Boards have multi gesture functions so two people can write on the board or manipulate objects simultaneously, opening up a more dynamic way of learning. And because you control your computer right from the SMART Board, you don’t have to keep switching between devices and training becomes much more efficient and productive.
To see a live demonstration of SMART Boards in action make sure you visit us at Learning Technologies 2013, which takes place on Tues 29th and Wed 30th January at Olympia 2. Entry to the exhibition is free and we will be on stand 16. You can find out more and book your ticket here.
