Quick Guide: Video Conferencing Made Easy With VaaS-t

VaaS-t combines the latest video conference solutions into one simple package. This Quick Guide will take you through the whole process, starting from the beginning. By the time you’ve finished reading this you’ll see how powerful – yet easy – VaaS-t makes video conferencing. Better yet, you’ll know everything you need to start using VaaS-t video conferencing to benefit your business.

So let’s open up our VaaS-t client and make our first video conference call. Just click on the desktop icon and you’re ready to go.

Making the call

You can make calls to existing VaaS-t users by browsing the directory on the main screen. Simply type in your contact’s name and their profile will pop up right in front of you. You can see which contacts are online by the little icon next to their name – green for online and empty for offline. All you need to do is click on your contact and make the call.

If you want to connect with non-VaaS-t users you can send them an invitation email. Just click the “Invite by Email” button at the bottom right of your screen and an invitation email will go straight to them. You don’t need to write anything, it’s all done for you in an instant.

You can also send email invitations to your offline contacts. You can invite multiple offline and non-VaaS-t users with the same email by simply adding recipients – just as you would any normal email. This way your offline contacts get a friendly heads-up that you want to contact them. All they need to do is log in to connect with you via their own VaaS-t setup. While non-users just need to click the guest link and type their name to join the video conference.

Finally, you can invite external meeting room systems like Polycom or Cisco and you can even have people join your conference over the phone.

VaaS-t means business

Now your meeting is up and running you can make use of numerous VaaS-t features to enhance your virtual boardroom. You can start by changing the layout to put focus on the main speaker or give everyone the same screen space. All this can be done within a couple of clicks using the layout tab – so you can make adjustments at any time, without interrupting your meeting. While, giving you full control over your video conference, you can turn your mic, speakers and camera on or off at any point during the meeting.

A key feature to VaaS-t video conferencing is the ability to share content and data. VaaS-t saves your business time and money by removing the need to travel for meetings. The problem is it’s difficult to run through documents as a group or share notes over hundreds, even thousands of miles. Not with VaaS-t it isn’t. Click the “Share” tab on the toolbar at the top of your display and you can share documents, webpages, audio recordings and more – with everyone in your virtual meeting.

All this is delivered in HD resolution, high-quality audio across a cloud-based platform designed to make your business more productive and your meetings more collaborative and effective. VaaS-t provides simple but powerful solutions for businesses looking to expand in a more demanding climate.
