There are two options to allow you to record notes from a meeting: we use the terms ‘in room benefits’ and ‘collaborative benefits’.
In room – by using a SMART Board to run a meeting and write handwritten notes and ideas on the screen, all participants can have a copy of the notes in PDF or PowerPoint waiting for them in their inbox by the time they return to their desk. This ability to quickly capture and record notes becomes even more powerful when you can write and capture over any other program on the PC: you can have a record of all sources of data from PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, the internet or a visualise, which can include hand written notes and changes that have been agreed in the meeting.
Collaboration benefits – By combining a SMART Board with a data conferencing solution you can record all the collaborative notes you create during data conferencing. These can then be over-written, saved, printed, emailed and resaved by everyone you share them with. This means that with Smarter Interactive, you will always be in full control of retained data and have comprehensive – and readily accessible – digital records.
You can also record or create a live stream of video calls to as many as 1000 people, and make the content available to others with complete control over playback options afterwards, for example using the LifeSize Video Centre software.
