Digital signage is one of
the most effective ways of communicating
messages to the public staff. The Onelan
Digital Signage Solution comprises a single
networked box that can be connected to any
number of plasma, LCD or projection screens
around your office, and be accessed and
controlled from any computer on the network.
Almost any type of content can be displayed
from the Onelan Box so whether it’s
CCTV footage, crime notices or public announcements,
Onelan can be used to display it all in
a layout and order that best suits your
needs.
The main content
display options include:
- Images and Photos
- Live TV, Sky or Video feed
- Scrolling text box
- RSS feeds
- Presentations
OneLan lets you split the display into
zones, each of which is independently
controlled. Create playlists for each zone,
which determine the sequence the content
is displayed in. Once the playlists are
set up, there is no limit to the number
of combinations you can create. OneLan comes
with a series of display layout templates
as standard, but because OneLan uses industry
standard XML formatting, your IT manager
can easily create their own bespoke display
layout templates.
All of this control and management is achieved
by accessing the web server within the OneLan.
There's no loading of software onto individual
PCs needed (other than a standard internet
browser), no worries about having an outdated
version and no licensing issues.
